Has the British government ever apologized or been punished for its mistreatment of mathematician Alan Turning?

The British still haven't apologized for 800 years of mistreating the Irish, or hundreds of years of other colonial/imperial atrocities.

Don't hold your breath.||| Please excuse my stupidity but, Who is Allan Turning?

As for appologies from governments of any description you will be dead before appologies are forthcoming. I/E australia's reluctance to say sorry to the stolen generation of aboriginal children. the USA's masive err um compensation to their native people. and the iranian apoligy to the homosexual youths they executed for being in love with each other.

I could go on and on but I guess you get the drift. ROBERTO.|||he wasn't mistreated he admitted to something he knew was a crime and then accepted one of the options given to him there was good reason for him losing his clearance since it had been shown that homosexuals were more likely to be influenced by spies.
