What type of lawyer seeks justice for torture or mistreatment of children by teachers (or assistants)?

if the event had occured many years ago but the victim still lives with the emotional scars and wants justice?|||That lawyer is called a District Attorney.

- Stuart|||Since that would be a criminal situation, the 'justice' is meted out by the government, through their prosecutors.|||A legal trial has two sides, each represented by an attorney. The attorney is HIRED to plead his/her client's case. That doesn't mean that each attorney endorses his client's behavior -- he may find it as reprehensible as you do. But an accused person is guaranteed a defense attorney who undertakes the job of defending that person, as guaranteed by our legal system.
