Instances of blatant immigrant discrimination and mistreatment in history?

I need specific instances of discrimination of minorities, mainly immigrants, and perhaps measures the government took (or didnt take) to help them out?|||The immigrants differed in culture, race, and religion from the majority of White Americans and they provided cheap labor for the industries. As a consequence, hostility and displeasure towards them occured.





Chinese immigrants in U.S history is one of the examples. You can search Angel Island and the Chinese Exclusion Act.

The trick on both cases was, if they didn't want the person, they'd make them read something in Lithuanian or Albanian...can't read it? sorry you're out. even tho they might have been teachers in their own language.





these are all instances of official, semi official and institutionalised discrimination.|||What about the Persecution of the Slaves ,who were forced to do what the white race wanted, if that wasn't blatant then what was??? And the White mans government did nothing to stop it until during the Confederate war of the United States,and i still see them getting the raw end of the stick !! By the way i am a White man , and i hate what this world is still doing to the ***** peoples of every nation.|||The Irish, when they first arrived in New York, were considered worse than slaves.


There are hundreds of examples of current immigrants being treated despicably - particularly in Germany and England.





Don't forget the Jews - both before and after the War.
